BRANDING - CW Concrete Logo Design
  • Upper level students used their design skills to generate logo ideas for a local company called CW Concrete.
    Students were asked to provided secondary logos and identify Pantone industry standard colors. Use of Adobe
    Illustrator, concept sketching
All Levels - "Concrete To Abstract Design"
  • Students demonstrate and explore all the various ways design is represented in our world. Idea here was to start with a photo of an
    object (concrete) and design it through stages which grew increasingly more abstract, yet retained the essence of what the photo
    subject included. Going left to right, Concrete, Your illustration of the concrete photo, Your interpretation of the concrete logo, A
    vector version of the concrete image, A pictogram of silhouette version, an abstract, a literal definition, and the last one is the
    concrete object realized as n adjective or noun.
PACKAGING - Cereal Boxes
  • Level 1 students learned about packaging and how cereal comprises one of the largest food markets in the world.
    Their final project combines color theory, typography, layout, photography, perspective, trademark characters,
    logos and much more.
VECTOR PORTRAIT
  • New students were introduced to Adobe Illustrator by creating a self-portrait or reproducing a famous person. All
    vector images.
BRANDING - App Design (Co-Project with Gaming / Coding Class)
  • Upper level students used their design skills to generate ideas for an app that was presented to them by our
    Gaming / Coding class. They were responsible for coming up with a logo, slogan, website splash page, premium,
    secondary logo, business card and to Pantone ID their colors. Illustration, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

COMIC STRIPS
  • Upper level students used their design skills to create a final project of a comic strip. Students were to illustrate,
