How To Print And Save For Web
  • Select your paper size (Letter or Legal)
  • Be sure the orientation is correct (Portrait or Landscape) and
    check the SCALE TO FIT MEDIA box.
  • Print to the Lexmark (Copy 2) printer

  • Open your work and do a COPY MERGED copy of it
  • Create a new file and paste it.
  • Go to IMAGE- IMAGE SIZE and change the resolution to 100dpi
  • With your file open, go to FILE - SAVE FOR WEB & DEVICES
  • In the upper right corner, select the JPEG option and make sure
  • In the lower left corner, you'll see the file tag JPEG and a time in
    seconds. It should be under 100 seconds.
  • Choose SAVE and select your block folder.

Projects Fall 2017 - 2018 is a simple web page creator that lets you look at thousands of
website templates and then save one and edit it. Remove their pictures, put in
yours. Remove their text, put in yours.  Changing color schemes, etc.. The best
portfolio pages have a simple landing (or Splash) page, and then links to your

during your time in class. Your name should figure prominently into the design.

  • Your job is to concept sketch and create digital version of verbs, nouns and adjectives.
  • *Task Sheet*
PROJECT  |  Create Artwork For A Mix CD   (16.01 - 18.01 - 20.1 - 21.01)
  • Returning students will be interviewing a chosen partner about their musical tastes and what they like. Your
    job will be to create a CD (packaging) with track lists, band names, photos and appropriate artwork which
    reflects the mood and style of the compact disc.
  • You will be graded on design style present, cohesiveness and proper formating (Sizes, typesetting, etc.)
  • It can include illustrations, photos or other original artwork.

The Mix CD will be due at the end of class on Monday, Sept 17th. Choose Glossy paper during
your printing setup.

PROJECTS |  Logo Design: What You're Doing In Ten Years
Your job is to create a logo using your last name. This is for a career you want to be doing in 10 years time
Start thinking about what you'd like to be doing in ten years. What business will you be running or line or work will you
be in. Imagine you can start your own business, any business. What will it be?

PRE-PRODUCTION - Locate as many logos in the same field of work you'd like to do. Paste them into a Word file or
Photoshop file. Save this in your folder.

Your job is to create a logo using your last name. This is for a career you want to be doing in 10 years time

Your job is to create a logo for a band or record label that combines two separate music genres.

PRE-PRODUCTION - Look up band logos. Research the genre you chose. What images come to mind? What
information can you use from your research to identify images used
